Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program (A-STEP)
What Is A Sleep Technologist?
An Accredited Sleep Technologist is a healthcare professional trained in sleep technology and relevant aspects of sleep medicine. Sleep technologists assist in the clinical assessment, physiological monitoring, testing, diagnosis, management, and prevention of sleep-related disorders with the use of various diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
To become a Sleep Technologist, one must be Credentialed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists after completing training courses. Advantage Sleep Centers offers these courses as a certified A-STEP provider.
