Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Advantage Sleep Centers is committed to remaining open during this unprecedented time as we are a vital support system for our sleep apnea community. Patients on PAP therapy rely on us for support especially in times such as these. We are continuing to provide all of our services with a focus on new and innovative ways of delivery. The safety of our patients and staff is our highest priority while continuing to serve our patient community.
We are performing our services in a responsible way. Patients are being screened at time of scheduling and prior to their appointment for any signs or symptoms that indicate an illness. Patients that indicate illness are being rescheduled for a later date. We are offering our Advantage Remote option for patients that are concerned with leaving their home; more on this program later.
Sleep is a critical component of how our bodies fight off disease, infection, and even aides in keeping our co-morbid conditions under control. Advantage Sleep Centers has examined every aspect in how we perform sleep testing to ensure the safety of our community. We are switching to disposable components, where one exists, for both our in-lab sleep tests and our home sleep apnea testing program. We have developed and trained our staff on specific COVID-19 protocols for cleaning of equipment and surfaces. Rest assured, these measures are being actively evaluated.
Advantage Remote is an innovative option that we are rolling out to ensure patients can obtain continuity of care. We can perform Positive Airway Pressure instruction sessions one-on-one with a Respiratory Therapist with your patient in the comfort of their own home. Furthermore, we will be extending this program to our Home Sleep Apnea Testing as well where patients will receive instruction and have access 24/7 to a Sleep Technologist. We are extremely proud to offer this option for our community.
We will continue to do what we do best by providing the highest level of service and care to our patients, referring physicians, and their office staff.
